Location:
The hunting area around Witvlei covers approximately 90 000 ha and is situated
about 100 km east of the airport at a distance of 140 km from Windhoek,
and at an altitude of about 1.400 m above sea-level. |

| Landscape:
The landscape partly consists of camel thorn savannah, and partly of open
plains and bush, which include lime pans that fill with water during the
rainy season (December to April). |

Climate: Dry
and hot climate prevails under cloudless blue skies, yet it might become
quite cold during the winter months (May until August) when morning and
evenings hours are chilly (up to -8°C). Short but intensive showers
and cloudbursts may occur during the rainy season from December to April. |

Accommodation:
4 comfortable double rooms and 1 single room situated in a separate guesthouse
are available at Grünental, each with an own shower and toilet. Excellent
home cooking will ensure your physical well being, and this includes Namibian
game specialities. We naturally offer a daily laundry and room-cleaning
service and personally tend to our guests. |

Membership: The hunting
and guest farm Grünental is a registered member of the Namibian Hunting
Association NAPHA. All services and prices on offer are therefor in compliance
with the association's guidelines. This ensures that hunting is done in
agreement with the conservation of nature and that of certain species. |
